Sarah Anderson

Sarah is a seasoned communicator with a proven track record in consultancy and in-house for the past 18 years in the UK and Asia. At Cognito, she manages a variety of global and Southeast Asian clients covering asset management, wealth, and financial services providers. Bringing her in-house perspective to every brief, Sarah leads on creative ideas and strategic planning to build robust integrated communications campaigns.

She has been based in Singapore since 2013. Prior to joining Cognito, she worked at the asset manager abrdn (Aberdeen) where she led CEO communications and supported internal stakeholders with thought leadership and communications campaigns. Sarah has a master’s in communications from Singapore Management University and a bachelor’s in history of art from Manchester University in the UK.

Recently, Sarah was involved in the launch of the abrdn Sustainability Institute in Asia and completed the CISL Sustainable Finance short course. At Cognito, Sarah is spearheading the APAC Sustainability practice to provide strategic communications support to accelerate our clients’ climate transition efforts.
