Charlie Morrow

Charlie leads Cognito’s sustainability practice, advising companies and organizations on communicating about climate finance and how to develop robust and high impact sustainability communications and stakeholder strategies.

His experience in sustainable finance and climate transition market-based solutions grew from his focus working with capital markets clients. This has included leading asset managers offering impact and pioneering ESG strategies such as Federated Hermes and Mobius Capital Partners, green lenders such as ING, and market structure businesses at the forefront of materials transition, such as CME Group. He has advised the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI), leading the communications efforts that launched its Claims Code of Practice, leads IETA’s global communications work and counsels private and multistakeholder groups and NGOs that are central to global coordination on climate action.
