Extreme events, new risks and technology are transforming insurance and challenging incumbents. While distinct in how it is sold and traded, and in its media and marketing channels, insurance continues to converge with financial services – for example around personalization and customer-centricity, the need to gain consumer trust (especially GenZ and GenY), and in the use of ILS (Insurance-Linked Securities) and capital markets.
