With more than five years’ corporate communications experience, Emelda’s focus has always been building and maintaining the strong reputations of her clients. As Senior Account Executive in Cognito’s Singapore team, she supports companies navigating challenging markets and positions them as thought-leaders through the development of audience-first stories that align with their business goals.

Emelda honed her skills and built strong media relationships through her previous experience working in PR agencies specializing in strategic communications and investor relations, working across a diverse range of sectors including real estate, manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and healthcare. Her past and present clients include Johnson & Johnson Vision, First REIT, Payoneer, Hamilton Lane, and The Circulate Initiative.

Prior to her career in public relations, Emelda worked in the marketing department at a software company in Singapore. She spent several years in London pursuing journalism, cutting her teeth at local publications such as OK! Magazine.
