Global integrated agency to support leading European fintech event with PR and media relations
Cognito has been appointed by Money20/20, Europe’s leading fintech event, to support media relations for its EMEA event in Amsterdam from 7-9 June. The global integrated communications agency will also support the Money20/20 organisation’s press office.
The Money20/20 Europe event is the organisation’s marquee showcase in fintech on the European continent. Hosted in Amsterdam, the event was visited by over 4,000 attendees in 2021 with many more expected in 2022 from all over financial services, including senior leaders in banking, payments, fintech, and more. The three-day event features talks and sessions from leading companies, such as Starling Bank, Tink, N26, Shopify, Visa, Stripe, Temenos, FIS, Ripple, and more.
Cognito will use its refined experience as a global integrated PR, marketing, and communications agency working exclusively in the financial services sector to build on Money20/20’s already strong foundation and raise the brand’s profile within both the local and European financial technology communities. Both Cognito’s London and Amsterdam offices will support Money20/20’s EMEA event.
Paul Bowhay, Director at Cognito, said: “Money20/20 is without a doubt the leading European fintech event, and we’re honoured to have been selected to support them with media relations and PR. As an integrated communications agency for the financial services sector, we have a strong portfolio of both fintech and traditional financial services clients. Since we have offices all over the globe and in Amsterdam, we have the broad reach and local connections to do the Money20/20 brand the justice it deserves.”
Tracey Davies, President at Money 20/20, said: “We’re extremely excited to work with Cognito on PR and media relations for our EMEA event this year. It’s great that Cognito is embedded in the financial services and fintech scene, particularly in Amsterdam where the EMEA event takes place. This is absolutely critical from a PR and media relations standpoint. All this made Cognito very much an obvious choice and we’re pleased to have them on board.”
