London, 25 May 2016 – Cognito, the specialist communications and marketing consultancy for the financial services industry, has appointed Yvonne Maher as Director.
Formerly a Director at Grayling, Yvonne specialises in corporate communications and international PR for clients in the financial services, professional services and energy sectors.
Based in the London office, Yvonne will report to Deputy CEO, Andrew Marshall and will be responsible for diversifying Cognito’s client base and contributing to the continued growth of the company across EMEA.
Throughout her ten years at Grayling, Yvonne managed a number of high profile campaigns for clients including the Economist Intelligence Unit, Lloyds Banking Group, Allianz Worldwide Care, Eversheds and the World Energy Congress. Through her experience of managing a number of multi-market campaigns and working in Brussels as a communications manager for ExxonMobil, Yvonne brings a great breadth of international experience to Cognito.

In order to accommodate its growing team in London, Cognito will move to a new office in Moorgate at the beginning of June. The relocation reflects the company’s ambition to build an agency of the future.
