Tom Coombes
CEO
Tom Coombes is the founder and CEO of Cognito. Tom’s experience is drawn from more than 12 years advising financial institutions and related businesses on improving their marketing, communications and brand strategies to make a direct impact on sales and profitability.
Tom’s client experience comes from working with leading financial sector brands around the globe including the London Stock Exchange, JPMorgan and ABN AMRO as well as numerous technology companies and consultancies that sell to the financial services market. |

Daniel Simon
Managing Director, US Operations
Dan established and heads up Cognito's US office which today works with
over 30 leading financial and financial technology firms. Dan has worked
with some of the largest names in finance including JPMorgan, RBC and
Lord Abbett, as well as multi-billion dollar hedge funds and brand names
such as Intel and AT&T.
Dan is also a financial columnist for PRNews and
a judge for PRNews' prestigious PR Platinum Awards. In addition, Dan is
an instructor at Media Bistro where he leads
classes on Media Relations and Client Relationship Management.

Rod De St Croix
Managing Director, UK Operations
Rod heads up Cognito’s UK office and oversees a portfolio of financial services and financial technology clients including Western Union, Tradeweb and Calypso. His 14+ years of experience in strategic B2B corporate communications have been gained through work with some of the world’s most respected financial and technology brands. He specialises in building corporate campaigns that achieve genuine cut through and tangible results. Rod is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Deborah Eisenberg
Vice President, US Operations
Deborah is a Vice President at Cognito, and heads up Cognito’s San Francisco office. She works for some of the leading players in the financial technology space including Omgeo and Sophis as well as several financial institutions. Deborah works closely with senior executives from a range of clients on strategy and planning, media relations, and crisis communications.
Prior to joining the firm, Deborah worked in the Reputation Management Group of Weber Shandwick. Deborah holds an MA in International Marketing and Communications from The Fletcher School in Boston, and a BA from New York University. |
